Health Clinic

Down here in Nehrunagar, our Health Clinic is a bit of a staple for the folks living nearby. It’s not a complicated place. We have a front desk where you sign in and a couple of rooms for the examinations. People around here know us well. They walk in when they’re feeling under the weather or if their kid has a scrape that looks a bit red. We’ve seen it all in this neighborhood. The clinic is simple, maybe a bit old-fashioned compared to the new places in the city, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days listening to heartbeats and checking blood pressure. Sometimes it gets busy, especially during the flu season when everyone is sneezing. We try to keep things clean and organized, though with so many people coming through, it’s a constant job. The staff are local, so we end up chatting about the neighborhood news while we work. It’s that kind of place. You don’t need an appointment for everything, though it helps. We just want to make sure people in Nehrunagar have somewhere to go when they need a doctor. It isn't anything fancy. Just a plain building with a sign outside. We have some benches for waiting and a clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loudly. Most people don't mind. They just want to know why their throat hurts or get their regular check-up done so they can go home. It’s a very ordinary, helpful spot.
