Our office is located at No. 29 on the second floor of the Ahiya Commercial Centre. Being near the Swaminarayan Gurukul makes it easy for folks to find where we are situated. It’s usually pretty quiet in the mornings before the rest of the building starts waking up. We spend most of our hours looking at spreadsheets and helping people with their paperwork. It isn't the most exciting work for everyone but it’s what we do day in and day out. The office isn't very big and we have files stacked up in the corners quite often especially when it gets closer to the end of the year. We have been here at this spot for some time now and we know most of the other shop owners in the commercial centre. Sometimes we go downstairs to grab a tea when things get a bit too hectic with the calculators. It’s just a small group of us working here. We handle the documents as they come in and try to stay on top of the new rules that seem to change all the time. You can hear the traffic from the main road sometimes if the window is left cracked open. It feels like a normal workplace where we just try to get the jobs done right. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a view of the street below which is nice when you need a break from the computer screen.
