Over at Gujarat Forgings Pvt. Ltd., things are usually moving pretty fast. We’re located in the Aji Industrial Area in Rajkot, right across from the NSIC building on 80 Ft. Road. It’s a well-known spot if you live in this part of Rajkot. Our mailing address is Po. Box. No. 1004, but most people just drop by the gate. The sun hits the front of the building hard in the morning, so we try to get started early before it gets too hot. Working with forgings means there’s a lot of heat and heavy lifting involved. It’s tough work, but it’s what we know how to do. The guys here have their own way of doing things, and we don’t change much unless we have to. Sometimes the 80 Ft. Road gets clogged with trucks, which makes getting in and out a bit of a headache. Still, it’s a good location for what we do. We’ve been here long enough that the walls have that worn-in look. We just focus on the metal and the orders. It isn't a place for suits or long meetings. We just get the hammer going and see the day through. It’s just a regular factory life in Rajkot for us. When the day ends, we just wash up and head home to the family. There is always more metal to work on when we come back. People know where we are if they need steel work.
