Grasim Ind. Ltd. is based at Shree 1 Mira Nagar, right by the Raj Banglows on Raiya Road in Rajkot. This is a pretty decent area to be in. The road is always active with people heading toward the main parts of the city. Our building isn't anything like the big glass towers you see in Mumbai. It is a much more local feeling here. We have a few rooms where we manage the local accounts and handle the shipments. Raiya Road is a good landmark, so most people don't have trouble finding us. We have a couple of trees near the entrance which gives a bit of shade in the afternoons. Rajkot gets very hot, so that shade is nice. The staff here is small but we have been together for a long time. We know how things work and we don't need a lot of instructions. We just get on with it. Sometimes we have visitors from other branches, but mostly it is just us. We keep things tidy, but it's a working office, so there are always stacks of paper and things moving around. It feels like a real place, not a brochure. If you are in the Mira Nagar area, you will likely see our sign. It is a good spot for us and we just keep the work moving.
