If you ever find yourself on Gondal Road in Rajkot, you’ve probably passed by Jeel Complex. Monarch Appliances is located right at number 16 in Vijay Plot. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops and people moving around. We spend most of our time dealing with all sorts of household gear. Some days it feels like we’re just surrounded by boxes and spare parts. People come in with things that stopped working, or they’re looking for something new for their kitchen. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of clutter. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular Rajkot business. We’ve got our regulars who stop by for a chat or to ask about a repair. Gondal Road is always noisy, with the traffic and the horns, but it’s home to us. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. We don’t use any complicated systems. Most of our records are still kept in big ledgers or simple spreadsheets. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. When someone walks in, they get to talk to one of us directly. We don’t have a front desk person sitting behind a glass window. It’s just us, the tools, and the appliances. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people finish work and come by.
