Our workshop, Maa Khodiyar Krupa Industries, is located at 2/7 in the Samrat Industrial Area. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Jagnath Marble Godown. It’s a busy spot and we are tucked behind the Ban Lab building. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and industrial work here. It is a noisy place, especially when all the machines are running at the same time. We don't have a fancy front office or anyone to greet you at the door. Usually, someone is just working on a lathe or welding something in the back. The floor is made of concrete and it’s usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings. We’ve been in this area for several years. The tea stall at the corner is where we spend our breaks talking about the day’s work. We don't have a big team, just a few reliable guys who know how to handle the equipment. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is just how things are in this part of town. We don't do any big promotions. We just take the jobs as they come from the local factories. It is hard work and the days are long, but we like being our own bosses. We try to keep the machines in good shape so we don't fall behind on the orders. It's a simple life.
