Glare Lighters is based right here at Survey No. 188, on Plot No. 1. If you are driving down NH-8B, you have probably passed us without thinking much of it. We make lighters. It is a straightforward business, really. We started out small and just kept at it over the years. The facility isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building where the assembly happens. We have a crew that has been with us for a long time. They know the machines inside and out. Sometimes a machine acts up, and we have to spend the morning fixing it instead of producing, but that is part of the day. We do not go in for big meetings or fancy titles. Most of us just wear our work clothes and get to it. The inventory piles up near the loading dock, and then the trucks take it away to different markets. It gets pretty loud inside when everything is running at once. We like the location because the highway makes it easy for the raw materials to get delivered. We do not have a receptionist, so if someone walks in, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It is a simple way to run things, and it has worked for us so far. We just focus on making sure the products work like they should before they leave the plot.
