Gir Medical Distributors

Gir Medical Distributors operates out of the Sameer Complex in Rajkot. We are tucked away behind the St Bus Station, which is a very busy part of the city at all hours. Being distributors, our day is mostly about moving boxes and checking long lists. We aren't really a retail shop where people come for a single strip of tablets or a bottle of syrup. It’s more about the wholesale side of things for us. The office and storage area in Sameer Complex are filled with cartons from many different companies. It can get a bit chaotic when the trucks arrive for unloading, and there’s always someone checking a clipboard or shouting out numbers. We don’t have a fancy reception area or air conditioning throughout the place. It’s a working warehouse type of vibe. We deal with a lot of different pharmacies and hospitals around Rajkot and the surrounding areas. The noise from the bus station is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. There are only a few of us here, and we mostly just focus on getting the orders out to our customers on time. If a shipment is late, we spend the afternoon on the phone trying to track it down. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound more glamorous than it actually is. We are just a local distribution point.
