Jaihind Mechinical Lathe Works

Our workshop is at Plot No. 3/10 in Bhakti Nagar, right by the Station Plot area. It is a small place, but we have been here for a long time doing lathe work and mechanical repairs. If you walk in, you will notice the smell of grease and the sound of metal being turned on the machines. It is not a clean environment, as there is iron dust and oil on almost every surface. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Most people just walk straight into the shop to talk to us about what they need fixed. We use manual lathes for a lot of our tasks, and it takes a bit of a steady hand to get things right. My clothes are usually stained with oil by ten in the morning, and the floor is always covered in metal curls. We do work for local farmers and other businesses that need a specific part made or a machine repaired. It is simple work, but it requires a lot of focus so we don't make a mistake on the measurements. The location near the station means we hear the trains going by all day long. We don't have a website or do any advertising; people just know we are here because we've been in the same spot for years. It is a practical life, working with our hands and keeping the old tools running as long as we can.
