Our office is tucked away in Rajkot at No. 1/2 in the Bhaktinagar Society. It’s a pretty quiet spot for the most part, though the street gets a bit crowded when people are heading home from work. We handle international trade and investment stuff from right here. It sounds more complicated than it really is on a day-to-day basis. Mostly we are just sitting at our desks, making phone calls to people in different countries and making sure the paperwork is sorted out properly. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a standard place with some old wooden furniture and a ceiling fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on the high setting. My brother and I run things mostly, along with a couple of clerks who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a big sign or anything. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been doing business with our family for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the trades go through and the clients are happy with how things are moving along. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing in this corner of Rajkot.
