Sun Field Ceramic

We are located on Old Ghuntu Road, which is one of those stretches where you see a lot of ceramic activity. Sun Field Ceramic is just a regular factory where we turn out tiles day in and day out. The building itself has seen better days, but the kilns inside are what really matter. We spend a lot of time monitoring the temperature because if it drops even a little, the whole batch can be ruined. It is a lot of responsibility for the guys watching the gauges. We don't really do much in terms of advertising or having a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time or just happen to drive down Old Ghuntu Road looking for stock. The floor is usually covered in a fine white powder and you can hear the hum of the motors from the street. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job, from mixing the clay to stacking the finished boxes on the pallets. It is hard work and the days can be long, especially when we are trying to finish a big order. We take our breaks under the neem tree out front when it gets too stuffy inside. It is a basic operation, but we have been doing it this way for a while and it seems to work for us.
