Ganga R.K. Industries Pvt. Ltd. operates out of a couple of spots, G-1204-5 and G-832-833, over in Lodhika Gidc, Metoda. Having the space split between two different plots means we are often walking back and forth across the industrial streets. It is a lot of ground to cover. Our main work is industrial manufacturing, so the buildings are big, open sheds with high roofs. It stays pretty loud when all the machines are running at once. We have a lot of workers coming in for different shifts, and the yard is usually full of raw materials or finished goods waiting to be moved. The sun beats down on the metal roofs, making it pretty hot inside by mid-afternoon. We have a small office area where the ledgers are kept, but most of the action happens on the factory floor. It is a rough and ready environment. We don’t have fancy landscaping or a lobby with a receptionist. It is an industrial site through and through. The trucks come in and out all day, kicking up dust from the Metoda roads. We have been here for a long time and have seen the Gidc grow up around us. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production numbers. It is a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but that is the business.
