Ganga Darshan

Ganga Darshan is located out on Halvad Road, specifically in Village Nichimandal on the Vakda-Khareda Road. It’s a rural setting, very different from the big industrial estates in the cities. Out here, things move at a bit of a different pace. We deal with whatever comes our way at the site. The air is a bit cleaner, but the dust from the road is always there. Our building is simple, built to handle the local weather. We don’t have many neighbors, just open land and a few other small setups. Most of our workers come from the nearby villages. They walk or ride bikes to get here. We spend a lot of time outside or in the open sheds. It gets very hot during the day, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don’t have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in every room. It’s a very basic, honest way of working. We drink water from the earthen pots to stay cool. There’s no big corporate office feel here. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the trucks take a while to find us because we are a bit off the main track. We just wait and keep things moving. It’s a quiet life at Ganga Darshan, focused on the daily tasks and the land around us.
