G T Sheth Eye Hospital

G T Sheth Eye Hospital sits right inside the Civil Hospital Campus. It’s a busy area because there are so many different departments around us. We focus purely on eyes here. Most days start early with people lining up for check-ups or surgeries. It’s a government campus, so it’s got that old-school feel with high ceilings and wide hallways. Sometimes it’s a bit of a maze finding your way around if it’s your first time, but we’re in the eye section. We see a lot of elderly folks coming in for cataracts and kids who need glasses for school. The staff here has been around for ages. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms with leather chairs, just wooden benches that have seen better days. It gets quite noisy with all the people moving between the different hospital buildings. We just get on with the work. Dealing with vision problems is serious, but we try to explain things simply to the patients. It’s not about being a big name; it’s about making sure people can see better when they walk out the gate. The campus is green with some big trees, which is nice when it’s hot outside. We don’t run any big ads, just rely on the fact that we’ve been in the same spot for a long time. People from all over the district come here, so it stays pretty hectic from morning until late afternoon.
