Our workshop is located on Dhebar Road South, right in the middle of the Atika Industrial Area. We are very close to the Krishna Service Station, which is the main landmark we tell people to look for. We do wire-cut EDM work, which is a specific way of machining metal using thin wires to cut through steel with a lot of precision. It is slow work, and the machines often run for hours just to finish one single piece. Most of the time, we are making dies or specialized parts for other machines. The Atika area is always full of the sounds of engines and metal hitting metal. It is a gritty part of town, but it is where the real manufacturing happens. We have a few machines tucked away in our space. Usually, it is just the owner and a couple of helpers managing everything. We get a lot of walk-in jobs from other small workshops nearby that do not have their own wire-cutting equipment. We do not have any fancy signs or a big lobby for guests. There is just a small desk covered in blueprints and metal samples. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, which really slows us down and messes up the schedule. We just wait for it to come back and restart the machines. It is a steady kind of job that takes a lot of patience. We have been here a while and know the neighbors.
