You can find us over at Survey No. 209 on Rajoo Engineers Road. We are right opposite the staff quarters for Rajoo, which makes it easy for people to find our gate here in Veraval Shapar. At Fontec Foundry Pvt. Ltd., the day starts early. The furnaces take time to get to the right temperature, so there’s always someone here before the sun is even fully up. It’s a heavy environment with a lot of iron and sand everywhere. We aren’t a corporate office with air conditioning; we are a working foundry where the air is thick and the work is hard. Most of us spend our hours monitoring the pours and making sure the molds stay intact. It’s the kind of place where you learn by doing, and many of our workers have been here since the beginning. We know the road well and the local tea spots where we take our breaks. We don't use much in the way of fancy equipment for the office side of things, preferring to keep our focus on the shop floor where the real work happens. It’s a gritty job, and at the end of the shift, everyone is tired and covered in dust. But we take pride in seeing the finished castings stacked up ready for transport. We just do our work, look after the machinery, and try to keep things moving as steadily as we can. It’s just a normal day of foundry life for us.
