We are out in Makansar, right on the 8-A Highway in Morbi. If you’ve ever been to this part of Gujarat, you know it’s the heart of the ceramic world. Everything around here revolves around tiles and clay. Our place, Excel Ceramic, is right in the middle of all that dust and activity. The highway is always packed with trucks carrying finished goods or raw materials. Inside our gates, it’s all about the kilns and the production lines. It’s a hot and loud environment, but it’s what we know. We make ceramic products that end up in houses and buildings all over. We don't have a fancy showroom with soft lights; we have a factory where the work actually happens. The 8-A Highway is our lifeline, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We’ve been part of the Makansar landscape for a while now. Most of the people working here live nearby and have been with us for years. We don't bother with polished speeches about our history. We just focus on making sure the batch that comes out today is as good as the one from yesterday. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the pallets loaded up and heading out on the trucks. We just keep the fires going and get the tiles packed up for the next order.
