We are located in Rajkot, over at Pushpam behind the old Shiv Temple. It is a quiet spot in Old Papaiya Wadi, right near the H.J. Doshi Hospital. Most days here start with a bit of tea and checking the overnight messages because we deal with overseas things. Rajkot can get really dusty and hot, so we keep the fans going all day in the office. D.M. Lakhani Overseas is just a group of us trying to keep everything moving. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us. It is not a huge office, just enough space for the desks and the files we need. Sometimes the traffic on Gondal Road is a mess, making it hard for people to get to us, but we manage. We don't have any fancy signs or anything. It's just a place where work happens. We handle different kinds of paperwork for goods going in and out. Everyone here has their own way of doing things, but it gets done eventually. Usually, someone brings in snacks in the afternoon which is nice. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do our part from this corner of Gujarat. If you find the temple, you’ve basically found us. It is simple work, really, just making sure things get from here to there without too many problems or delays.
