Inside, we try to keep it a bit more quiet for the patients. The building has been sitting on this corner for a long time now. People use the hospital as a landmark sometimes when they are giving directions to their friends. We have the hospital setup and the laser centre part all in the same building, which makes things easier. It isn't particularly fancy to look at from the outside, just a solid, square building with big windows that get a bit dusty from the road. The lobby has those standard plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable for long waits, but they do the job just fine. We get a lot of people coming in from both roads because it’s such a central spot in the city. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in if we leave the front door open too long, so we try to keep it shut as much as possible. The staff here has been together for a long time. We know the daily routines. It's not a corporate chain where everything is polished and fake. It's just a place where we do our work. If you're coming by car, finding a spot right on the corner is tough, so most people park a bit further down. We see all sorts of people every day, and everyone just waits their turn in the lobby.
