Samay Industries

Our spot at A-1 Atika South is right behind where they make the Rolex bearings. It’s an industrial patch of town where everyone is busy making something. At Samay Industries, we share the space with a lot of noise from the nearby units. The road outside can be a mess when it rains, with big puddles everywhere. We have a simple building where we do our work. It’s mostly about handling the daily production and making sure the parts are ready for whoever needs them. There’s a lot of metal around and the smell of industrial oil is always in the air. We don’t have fancy signs or anything like that. People usually find us by looking for the Rolex Bering landmark. The day usually starts with checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be shipped out. We have a few workers who have been with us for years now. We usually eat lunch together in a small corner of the shop where it's a bit quieter. It’s a very practical environment. The desks in the small office area are covered in blueprints and spare parts. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the afternoon, and we just wait it out. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a working man’s shop in the Atika South area. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There’s always something to fix or a machine that needs oiling.
