We are Dharpat Casting Pvt. Ltd., and you can find us out at Plot No. 2637/40 on Road No. D-11 in the Metoda G.I.D.C. area of Rajkot. Being in a G.I.D.C. means it's pretty industrial and dusty, but that's just the nature of what we do here in Gujarat. The factory floor is usually quite loud with the machines running, and there is always a bit of a heat from the casting process. It’s hard work, and the guys on the floor really put in the hours to get things right. We have a small office section where we handle the billing and the client calls, but the real action is in the back. Rajkot is a big hub for this kind of work, so we have plenty of neighbors doing similar things. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially for the trucks coming in to pick up the finished parts. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our business comes from people knowing we are here and that we have the equipment to handle the jobs. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the fly, which keeps us busy. It is just a standard casting unit, nothing too fancy to look at, but we get the jobs done.
