If you drive down Kalawad Road towards Mota Mava, you’ll find us at Dev Motors. It is a busy stretch of road, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Our workshop is right there, and you can usually see a few cars parked out front waiting for their turn. It is a greasy kind of place, which I guess is expected for a motor shop. We have tools scattered across the benches and the floor always has a few oil spots that won't come out no matter how much we scrub. I’ve been running Dev Motors for a while, and most of my customers are regulars who live around Mota Mava. They just drop their keys off and tell me what’s wrong with the engine. We don’t have a fancy waiting lounge with air conditioning or a coffee machine. Usually, people just stand around and chat for a bit or come back later. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the morning hours. It’s a lot of manual work, getting under the chassis and getting your clothes dirty. We don’t use any complicated software to track things, just a big diary where I write down the vehicle numbers and what we did. Dev Motors isn't a big dealership, just a local garage on Kalawad Road where we fix cars and try to keep everyone on the move.
