Desai Ayu Clinic

If you walk up to the first floor at Sadguru Thirthdham on Raiya Road, you will find our clinic. We are right near Shivam Hospital, so there are always people walking around this area looking for medical help. Raiya Road is one of those places that is always moving. Our clinic focuses on Ayurveda, so the atmosphere is a bit different from a standard hospital. We have bottles and jars around and the smell of various things we use. It’s a comfortable enough space, though it isn't very large. We’ve got a couple of rooms for talking to patients and another area for the actual work. I’ve noticed that people like that we are on the first floor because it’s a bit away from the street level dust. The building itself is older, but it’s sturdy. We have some chairs in the hallway for when it gets crowded. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but people don't seem to mind too much. They usually just chat with each other or look out the window at the traffic below. We don’t use a lot of fancy computers for everything; there is still a good amount of paper involved in how we run things. It’s just a local Ayu clinic where we try to help out the people from the neighborhood. We have some plants near the entrance that I try to water every morning, though I forget sometimes. It adds a bit of life to the floor.
