Corsa Pumps

You can find Corsa Pumps over on the 80 Feet Road in Rajkot, right across from the Jakat Naka. This area, Virani Aghat, is known for all the mechanical and industrial stuff going on. Our place is on Dhebar Road South, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a pump shop. We have parts scattered around and the smell of grease is always hanging in the air. The sounds of testing pumps and water splashing into tanks are constant during the day. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood hasn't changed much except for the traffic getting heavier. Rajkot gets incredibly hot, so we usually have the big doors open to catch any breeze that might come off the road. It gets dusty with all the trucks passing by the Jakat Naka, but we just wipe down the counters and keep going. We aren’t trying to be the biggest or the flashiest place around. We just handle our work and help the people who come in looking for specific pump parts or repairs. Sometimes a customer will stay for a chat while we look for a part, and we’ll talk about the local news or the price of things. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. No one wears a suit here; we’re all in work clothes that usually have a few stains on them. It’s just how it is when you’re working with machinery all day long.
