Our place, Contact Bearing Company Pvt. Ltd., is out in the Galaxy Industrial Estate. Specifically, we’re at number 26, just off NH-8B in Shapar. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of noise from machinery and trucks moving around. It’s not the quietest spot, but it’s where we need to be for this kind of work. The workshop floor is usually covered in a bit of grease and metal dust, which is pretty normal for a bearing business. We spend most of our time looking at parts and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a lot of manual work and checking sizes. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s a practical space. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, so we just take a break and sit outside until it comes back on. Shapar is a busy hub for industries, so there are always people coming and going. We’ve got a routine that works for us, starting early before the heat gets too bad. We handle a lot of different bearings, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people, just a dedicated crew doing our thing at 26 Galaxy Industrial Estate. It’s a solid way to make a living.
