We have been here at Trishul Estate in Rajkot for a long time now. If you know Aji Ind. Estate, you know it gets busy and a bit dusty with all the work going on. Opposite the N.S.I.C. building is where you’ll find us. Most days start early because the heat in Gujarat doesn't wait for anyone. We focus on the casting work and blowers, which is noisy and heavy stuff. It isn’t glamorous. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do sometimes. We spend a lot of time just making sure the parts are right before they go out. Sometimes the truck drivers get lost looking for the estate, so we spend half the morning on the phone giving directions. It’s just the way things are. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s mostly just desks, old files, and the sound of the workshop in the back. People come by, we drink some tea, and we talk about the orders. We try to keep things simple. If there's a problem with a casting, we just fix it. No big meetings or long emails. It’s hard work, especially when the power cuts happen, but we manage to get through the day. Rajkot is a hub for this kind of thing, and we are just one of the shops making it happen.
