Bombay Industries

Bombay Industries is located at Survey No. 83, right across from the Shining Foundry. You can’t miss us because the foundry is always busy and makes a lot of noise. We’re in a pretty industrial part of town. Our building is just a standard shed with a small office tucked in the corner for the paperwork. We do a lot of different things depending on what our customers need that week. It’s mostly metal work and fabrication. We have a few old lathes and some newer tools that we’re still getting used to. The tea stall down the road is where we usually catch up on the local news during our breaks. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. We just talk to people on the phone or when they stop by the gate. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we use that time to clean up or organize the scraps. It’s a bit dusty, especially when the wind blows from the foundry side. We try to keep our area tidy, but it's a workspace, not a showroom. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on this stretch. We help each other out with tools or advice when things break down. It’s a decent way to make a living and we stay busy enough to keep everyone employed.
