Biloree Cast (India) Pvt. Ltd. is out in Metoda, located at GIDC Plot G, 1604-1607. It’s a big industrial area on Kalawad Road, and we’ve been here for a good while. We do casting work, which is pretty much as hot and heavy as it sounds. The heat from the furnaces can be a lot, especially during the peak of summer. Most of our days start very early, trying to get things moving before the midday sun really hits the factory shed. We have several machines that have been running for years. They need constant oiling and care, but they get the job done. The floor is usually covered in sand, dust, and little bits of metal. We aren't a fancy corporate office with glass walls and air conditioning. It's a real factory. We make the parts that go inside other machines that people use elsewhere. Sometimes we get big orders that mean staying late into the evening, well after the other units have closed. You can hear the constant hum of the plant even from the road. The tea stall just a few steps away is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day. It’s hard, physical work, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s convenient for shipping and we know our neighbors. It isn't a quiet place, but it's where we work. We just keep our heads down and get the casting finished. It's not a complicated life, but it's ours.
