Bhoomi Casting

Bhoomi Casting is tucked away in the Dhara Industrial Area in Rajkot. We are right on Murlidhar Weigh Bridge Street, just off the Aji Dam Ring Road. If you know Rajkot, you know this area is full of foundries and workshops. Our place is no different. It’s a bit noisy and there’s always the smell of hot metal and sand in the air. We do casting work, which is basically about getting the molds right and pouring the molten metal. It’s a tough job and the workshop floor is always covered in something, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have a group of guys who have been doing this for years. They don't need much instruction anymore. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the parts we cast are solid and meet the specs for whatever they are being used for. The office is small and usually has a thin layer of dust on the windows from the street outside. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the shifts. It’s a local business through and through. We don't have any scripted speeches or polished brochures. We just show the work we’ve done and talk to people plainly. If someone needs a specific casting, they come by, we talk about the dimensions, and we get to work on the pattern. It is a steady, noisy life here in Rajkot.
