Our shop, Mahavir Imitation Jewellery, is located in Bhavnagar. If you know where Patel Vadi is, we aren't too far from there. Actually, the easiest way to find us is to look for the Hanuman Mandir; we are right near it. It’s a nice spot because the temple brings a lot of people by, and it feels like a good part of the neighborhood to be in. We deal with all sorts of imitation pieces, from necklaces to bangles and whatever else people are looking for these days. The shop isn't fancy, just some glass cases and shelves to hold the stock. We spend a lot of time cleaning the pieces and rearranging the displays. It can be a bit dusty sometimes with the wind blowing in from the street, but we try to keep it tidy. My family has been involved in this for a while, so we know a thing or two about what looks good. People come in, look around, and sometimes stay to chat for a bit. We don't push anyone to buy anything; we just let them browse. It’s a small business, so we do everything ourselves, from opening up in the morning to locking the gates at night. Some days are slow, while others get busy during the festival times when everyone wants something new to wear. We’re just regular people trying to run a shop in a way that makes sense. We enjoy the local crowd here.
