Bell Pumps

Our place is at 46 W/B in the Bhaktinagar G.I.D.C. area, specifically in Udyognagar. It’s a classic industrial estate vibe. We’ve got pumps in various stages of being put together all over the workshop. There is usually water on the floor in the testing area because we have to run the pumps to make sure they work. It’s a bit damp and smells like metal and wet concrete. We have a small office upstairs where we keep the records and answer the phone. The stairs are narrow and a bit creaky. Downstairs, the guys are busy with wrenches and screwdrivers. It’s not a quiet job. We have a lot of parts stored in bins along the walls. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific bolt or a seal that’s gone missing. The G.I.D.C. is a busy place, so there’s always the sound of other factories in the distance. We’ve been here for years and the shop has stayed pretty much the same. We have an old calendar on the wall that hasn't been changed in months. We don't really care about the decor much as long as the work gets done. Most of the people who buy from us are locals or farmers who need something reliable. We just show them what we have and explain how it works. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business without any of the extra fluff.
