B T Sorathiya & Co has been operating out of 220 Heera Panna Complex for a long time. The complex is on Dr Yagnik Road in Rajkot, right across from the Rajkot Nagrik Sahakari Bank. It’s a very busy area, and finding a place to park can be a real challenge some days. Our office is on the second floor. It’s a plain, functional space. We have the usual office furniture, some old-fashioned calculators, and computers that are always humming. We handle a variety of accounting tasks like tax preparation and auditing for local businesses. It’s a lot of manual work and checking and re-checking figures. The walls of the office are lined with folders and binders. We don’t have any corporate branding or mission posters on the walls. We just have our desks and our work. In the morning, we get in, turn on the lights, and start going through the mail. It’s a small team here, so we all know what everyone else is doing. We usually take a break for lunch and then get back to it. Sometimes we have clients dropping in to hand over their documents or ask a quick question. We try to keep things simple and honest. We’re just a local firm in Rajkot 360001 doing the kind of work that keeps the financial side of things running smoothly for our clients. No big promises, just the daily grind of accounting.
