Atlas Exports is based at 5, Mahadev Vadi, on the Main Road in Rajkot. The pin code is 360004 if you're sending us something. We’ve been working out of this building for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot on the main road, so there’s always noise from the traffic. We mainly deal with exporting goods that are made around this region. Our office is a bit cluttered with samples and shipping documents. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs agents and transport companies. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure things get to the port on time. We are a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from typing out invoices to checking the quality of the items in the crates. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and make sure our clients are getting what they ordered. Rajkot is a big hub for manufacturing, so being on the main road helps us stay connected with the local factories. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. We just try to keep the exports moving without any major hiccups. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we like the rhythm of it. There is always a lot to learn about different markets and we just take it one day at a time here.
