Asian Technocast

We are over at Plot No. 185 on M. Road in the Aji GIDC-II section of Rajkot. Our business is technocast, so we deal with a lot of foundry work and casting metal parts for various uses. If you come by the shop, you'll see a lot of sand molds and furnaces. It’s a very hot job, especially when we are pouring the molten metal into the forms. The air is always thick with the smell of the foundry, and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep up. We have a decent-sized plot here where we store the finished castings before they get loaded onto trucks to go out to customers. Most of the people working here are locals from Rajkot who know the trade well. We don't have any corporate protocols or fancy meetings. We just look at the drawings, prepare the molds, and get to casting. Sometimes a mold breaks or the metal doesn't flow right, and we just have to start over again. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. The M. Road area is always busy with trucks and other small factories, so there's a lot of noise all day long. We keep our equipment running as best as we can, even the older machines that have been here for years. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we focus on getting the orders out without much fuss.
