It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just us helping people pick out frames or getting them fitted for contact lenses. We’ve been here for a good while, so we’ve seen styles change quite a bit over the years. Kalawad Road is a good spot for us because people can drop in while they’re doing their banking or other errands. We have a lot of different glasses on the shelves, from basic ones to some that are a bit more modern. The clinic part is where we do the eye checks. It’s not a huge space, but it’s got what we need to get the job done right. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when several families come in at once, but we manage. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics or anything like that. If a pair of glasses doesn't look right on you, we'll tell you. We want people to be happy with what they’re wearing. It’s just a local shop run by people who know about eyes. We like being across from the Bank of Baroda because everyone knows where that is. We’re just regular folks helping our neighbors see a bit clearer. It’s a small shop but we keep a good variety of options.
