You will find us on Jetpur Road over here in Gondal. The road gets quite a lot of trucks passing by, so there is usually a layer of fine dust on the front step that we have to sweep away. The shop has been here for a while now. We have these tall metal racks that hold everything from bandages to big bottles of syrup. It can get a little cramped when two or three people come in at once. We usually have the radio playing some local news in the background while we work. The light inside is a bit yellow, but it helps us see the small print on the packaging. On some days, the sun hits the front window just right and makes it hard to see the street, so we pull down the blue shade halfway. We keep a ledger for the regular neighbors who come by for their monthly stuff. It is mostly just about staying organized so we don't lose track of the stock. We have a small sink in the back where we wash our hands about ten times a day. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. We don’t have much room for sitting, so we are mostly on our feet. It is just a plain medical store on a busy road where we try to keep things simple and easy for everyone who stops by our door.
