We are located out in Veraval Shapar, right behind the Gram Swaraj Mandal. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly dust and industrial sheds. Our spot at Survey No. 239 is where all the casting happens. It gets incredibly hot near the furnaces, especially in the afternoon. We spend most of our time dealing with molds and molten metal. It’s a tough environment, and everyone’s usually covered in soot by the end of the shift. The road out here in Tal. Kotda Sangani isn't the best, so we’ve gotten used to the bumps. We started with just a couple of small plots and grew bit by bit. There’s no fancy lobby or air-conditioned waiting room here. You just walk in and see the work happening. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It gives us a chance to catch our breath. We’ve got a lot of heavy machinery that makes a ton of noise, so you have to shout to be heard. We don’t really do big speeches or fancy brochures. We just make the parts and send them out. It’s a simple life out here in Gujarat, focused on getting the orders right and making sure the metal cools properly. Most of us have been working together for years now. We just try to keep the Veraval Shapar Shapar facility running as smoothly as possible.
