Architectural Design Shop

We are located on the first floor of Kiran Complex, right on Mavdi Main Road in Rajkot. Calling ourselves the Architectural Design Shop felt right because we like to keep things practical. It's not a gallery; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty with plans and site visits. The road outside is always loud with traffic and horns, which is just part of being in Rajkot. We’ve been in this complex for a while. Our office has big windows, but they get dusty pretty fast from the street. We do a lot of work for local families who are building their first home. They come in with a lot of questions, and we try to give them straight answers. Building costs are always going up, so we spend a lot of time trying to make designs that don't break the bank. We use a lot of paper. There are stacks of it everywhere. Sometimes we lose a pen under a pile of drawings and spend ten minutes looking for it. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be drawing a window detail, and the next I’m out at a site checking the foundation. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We just want to do a good job for the people in our community. It’s about building things that last and work well for the people living inside them.
