Archana Imitation

Archana Imitation is right there on Bhavnagar Road. We are situated pretty much opposite the Panjara Pole Building, which is a landmark everyone in this part of town knows. If you’re looking for us, we are near the K. D. Complex. The shop is filled with all sorts of imitation jewelry and small items that catch the light. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we like to keep as much out on display as possible. Sometimes the necklaces get a little tangled and we have to spend the quiet hours untangling them. The road outside is almost always busy with cars and rickshaws going toward the center of the city. We spend a lot of time just watching the traffic while waiting for customers. It's a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different people behind the counter depending on the time of day. We don't have any big flashy lights or fancy displays, just glass cases that we spend way too much time cleaning fingerprints off of. People come in looking for something specific for a wedding or a party, and we just help them dig through the boxes until they find it. It’s not a high-end boutique or anything like that. It’s just a shop where we sell things people like to wear. We’ve been on Bhavnagar Road for a while now and we know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. It’s a good little community.
