Anilceramic

If you head down 8-A, N.H. Way on Ghuntu Road, you will find Anilceramic. We are right in the heart of the ceramic belt. The air around here is always a bit dusty from all the clay and firing processes going on. Our building is a large warehouse-style structure where we keep the tiles and ceramic goods. It’s a bit of a walk from the front gate to the office. We spend most of our time out on the floor checking the quality of the batches coming through. There are rows and rows of pallets stacked with boxes. The forklifts are always buzzing around, so you have to watch your step. The office itself is small and usually has a thin layer of dust on the windows. We have a big table where we lay out the ceramic samples for people to see. It’s not a showroom with fancy lights; it’s just where we work. We use an old ledger for some of the local deliveries because it’s faster than the computer sometimes. Lunch is usually a quick affair in the back room. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, and the fans just move the warm air around. We’ve been at this location for quite a while now. Everyone knows the Ghuntu Road traffic is a mess, but we manage to get our trucks out on time. It is just a regular factory life.
