Ammar Tin Works

Ammar Tin Works is located at Hudco Quarter No. 52, right off Jamnagar Road. We are pretty close to the Special School, so that’s a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Our work is mostly loud and hands-on because tin isn't a quiet material to work with. There is always the sound of cutting or hammering going on in the shop. We handle all sorts of tin jobs, from small repairs to making specific pieces that people need for their houses or businesses. Jamnagar Road is a busy stretch, but Hudco Quarter is a bit more tucked away. Quarter No. 52 isn’t a huge place, but it’s enough for our tools and the sheets of metal we keep in stock. We get a lot of dust on our clothes and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. That is just the way it goes when you’re working with tin all day. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the locals know us for the work we do. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy front desk; you just walk in and talk to whoever is holding the shears. We focus on getting the shapes right and making sure the metal is joined properly. It’s basic, honest work that we do here at Ammar Tin Works. Being near the Special School helps people find No. 52 more easily.
