Ami Aluminum

Ami Aluminum is located at 2 D K Chambers on the Vidhyanagar Main Road in Rajkot. The building is one of those typical commercial structures where everyone knows each other. Our space is filled with samples of aluminum sections and various hardware bits. It is a bit of a metallic environment, and there is often a faint smell of cutting oil or just the cold scent of metal. We spend a lot of time talking to local contractors and people who are building houses nearby. The main road is always buzzing with motorcycles and rickshaws, so it is never truly quiet in the shop. We have a couple of old wooden desks where we do the billing and talk to customers. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold in the winter months. We have a small display area, but mostly it is just piles of material ready for delivery. It is a very hands-on type of business. We don't really go for fancy decorations; we just have some calendars on the wall and a small temple in the corner for the morning puja. People in Rajkot are generally in a hurry, so we try to keep things moving quickly. We have been in this spot for a while now and most of our neighbors are also in similar trades. It is a hardworking atmosphere and we just take each day as it comes, dealing with the metal orders that come through.
