Christmas Gift Box

Christmas Gift Box is over at F/703 in Kasturi Aviary, which is part of the Ambika Township. Being on the seventh floor means we are constantly moving boxes in and out of the elevator. It can be a real pain when the elevator is slow or someone is moving furniture. The rooms are basically filled with cardboard and tape right now. We started this because we liked the idea of packing things up, but it has grown into a lot of work. The view from the balcony is okay, but we mostly just see other buildings in the township. During the busy seasons, this place gets completely buried in paper and ribbons. It is not a shiny corporate office with a view of the city skyline. It is just an apartment where we do our business. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we are making too much noise with the tape dispensers late at night, so we try to keep it down. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes and half-finished coffee cups. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us trying to keep the orders organized. It gets pretty frantic when a big shipment needs to go out, and we end up eating lunch while standing up. That is just how it is for us at the moment. We have a routine, and it works, even if it looks a bit messy to anyone walking in from the outside.
