Akshay Industries

Akshay Industries is over on Dhebar Road in Rajkot. We’ve got our workshop right opposite the Arya Samaj building. It’s a well-known spot in this part of the city. Being on Dhebar Road means it’s always lively outside. There’s a lot of industrial activity around here. We do a lot of manufacturing work, so there's always the sound of tools and machines in the background. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a long time. The building itself is older, but it serves our purpose well. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything. We just focus on the metalwork or whatever job is on the bench that day. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we talk about the day’s tasks. It’s a humble setup. People know us by our location near the Arya Samaj. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth usually brings people to our door. It’s just how we’ve always done things here in Rajkot. We just keep working and keep the machines running and hope for a good tomorrow. The city is growing fast, but we just stay in our lane.
