The workshop is located at Post Box No. 1003 in the Aji Industrial Estate in Rajkot. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows it. There are oil stains on the floor that have probably been there since before I started. It gets really hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. We mostly deal with diesel engines and all the parts that go with them. It’s greasy, heavy work, and our hands are rarely clean. We aren't some big corporate office with fancy suits. Most of the time, we’re in our work clothes. People from around the estate drop by for tea and to ask about parts. We have shelves filled with stuff, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. The roads around here are always busy with trucks and dust, but that’s just life in an industrial area. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just fix what’s broken and sell the parts people need to keep their own businesses running. It’s honest work. Sometimes the machines are stubborn, and we stay late to figure them out. We just want to make sure the job is done right so the customer doesn't have to come back the next day for the same problem.
