Working out here in Metoda GIDC means you get used to the industrial noise pretty fast. Our place is at G-1051, right on Road-A, just behind Fortune Square. If you’re looking for us, look for the Kishan Gate entrance. It’s a manufacturing site, so don’t expect anything shiny. The floor is mostly concrete and we’ve got machines lined up where the guys spend most of their shift. There’s usually a thin layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the work we do here. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a few years now, and we’ve seen the area grow a lot. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, hitting the metal roof, but we keep the fans going. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the production line and making sure the crates are ready for the trucks that come by in the evening. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We aren't big on meetings or long emails; we just talk over the sound of the machinery to get things sorted. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s a honest day’s work. We stick to our routine and make sure the parts we make are decent. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep a small radio playing in the background to break the silence of the factory floor, though you can barely hear it over the grinders. By the time we lock up at night, everyone is pretty tired, but we’ll be back at it tomorrow morning.
