Abhay Packaging Industries

Our place is located at Survey Number 267, Plot 18. We are right across from Monarch Electric, on the same street where Rangani Engineering is. It’s a busy little industrial street. We focus on packaging. Most of our day is spent around the machines that put everything together. It’s not the quietest job, but it’s steady. We have a lot of different types of packaging materials coming through here. Sometimes the orders are small, other times they take up the whole floor. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands and comes to the door when someone knocks. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen the neighborhood change as more shops opened up. The heat can be tough in the afternoons, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the packaging is strong enough for whatever it’s holding. It’s about being practical and getting the job done. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small industrial spot. We just keep our heads down and work. The street can get pretty crowded with delivery vans, especially around midday. We try to keep our part of the plot tidy, but when there’s a big rush, things can get a bit disorganized. We don't really use a computer for everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper because it's faster.
