Aastha Impex

We’ve been running Aastha Impex from this spot on 150 ring road for a good number of years now. It’s a noisy area with all the trucks passing by, but it’s convenient for getting things moved. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a few old desks and some tall filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We spend most of our mornings checking on shipments and calling up vendors to see where our orders are. It’s mostly industrial stuff we handle, along with some fabric lots when the season is right. The kettle is usually on by ten, and that’s when we go over the day’s tasks. There’s a lot of paperwork in this business, more than you’d think. We don’t really do fancy presentations or anything like that. We just look at the lists, check the stock, and make sure things are headed where they need to go. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit of a mess, which slows things down, but we just keep at it. Our team is small, just a few of us who’ve known each other a long time. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. People just find us through word of mouth or see the sign when they’re stuck in traffic. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just try to stay organized and keep the boxes moving without too much trouble.
