AASHUTOSH FORGE

AASHUTOSH FORGE is located at Sr. 220 on the Veraval Main Road. We are right near the Korat School in the Veraval area of Shapar. Being on the main road makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, which is important for what we do. We do forging work, so our place is hot and noisy most of the time. You can hear the hammers from the street. It’s a tough job but we’ve been doing it for years. The shop floor is always covered in iron dust and bits of metal. We don't have a fancy office. Just a small desk where we handle the bills and the phone calls. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time. We know the neighbors around Veraval and Shapar quite well. Sometimes the kids from Korat School walk past and look in at the sparks. It’s a very grounded business. We don't talk much about "visions" or anything like that. We just focus on getting the pieces forged correctly and out the door on time. The machines are old but they work hard, just like we do. Some days the heat is really something, especially in the summer. But that's part of the trade. We take pride in just doing the work every day without any fuss.
