A. B. Machine Tools

If you find yourself in the Mavdi Plot area of Rajkot, you’ll eventually pass by 8/3 where we are. A. B. Machine Tools isn’t hidden away; we are right there in the thick of it. Rajkot is a place where people know their way around an engine and a lathe, and we fit right in. Our shop is filled with the sound of grinding and metal hitting metal. It’s a tight space, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it over the years. The walls are stained with years of work and the floor has its fair share of scuffs. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just look at the machines we are working on that day. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the local suppliers and the other shop owners on the street. It’s a community of makers. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress people with colorful brochures. We just show up in our work shirts, grab our tools, and see what the day brings. Sometimes the orders are small and sometimes they keep us here late into the night. We just take it as it comes. It is a bit loud and a bit dirty, but it is our place and we are proud of the work we finish here every single day.
